Plain terms
for a simple directory.

Healers is run by Rivendell, a New Zealand business. By using this site you agree to these terms. They are short because the directory does one thing: it helps you find practitioners and contact them directly.

What the directory is

The directory lists readers, healers and wellbeing practitioners as a starting point for your own research. Each listing is written from the practitioner's own public information or from details the practitioner gave us. We check listings for accuracy and clarity, but we do not inspect practices, watch sessions or test results.

Listings are not endorsements

A listing is not a recommendation, a guarantee or a clinical claim. Being listed does not mean that Rivendell has approved a practitioner, verified their qualifications or vouched for any outcome. Words such as "agent-checked" and "practitioner-verified" describe our review process only, as explained on the How it works page.

No medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological or legal advice. Spiritual and wellbeing services serve different purposes from health care. They do not replace diagnosis or treatment from a registered health professional. If you are unwell, or in crisis, contact a doctor, call Healthline on 0800 611 116, or call 111 in an emergency.

Practitioners set their own terms

When you contact or book a practitioner, your agreement is with that practitioner, not with Rivendell. Practitioners set their own fees, availability, cancellation rules and conditions. Ask about these before you book. Rivendell is not a party to that arrangement and is not responsible for the services provided.

Listing standards and our right to hide listings

Practitioners who list with us must meet our listing standards. We may edit, hide or remove any listing at any time, without notice, if it is inaccurate, out of date, misleading, unlawful, or if we cannot confirm the practitioner. We may also hide listings when the practitioner asks us to, or when the practice has closed or moved outside New Zealand.

Using the site

• Use the enquiry forms only to contact a practitioner about their services.
• Do not copy the directory, scrape listings or use practitioner details for marketing.
• Only claim a listing that is yours, and only give us information that is true.
• Do not post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.

Liability

We provide the site as it is. To the extent the law allows, Rivendell is not liable for loss or harm that comes from using the directory, from relying on a listing, or from any service a practitioner provides. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded.

Privacy

Our privacy page explains what personal information we collect and how we look after it.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of New Zealand, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. This version is dated 8 September 2026.
