Privacy

Your information,
handled with care.

Healers is a directory of readers and healers in Aotearoa New Zealand, run by Rivendell, a New Zealand business. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, where it is kept and how you can see or correct it. We follow the information privacy principles in the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

We only collect information that you type into a form on this site:

Browsing the directory does not collect personal information. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers or social media pixels.

Why we collect it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing lists.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare KV, a storage service run by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare stores this data in data centres in the United States and the European Union. Submissions are deleted after 180 days. Published listing details stay on the site while the listing is live.

Because storage is outside New Zealand, we choose a provider that protects information to a standard comparable with New Zealand law and that is bound by written commitments to do so.

Who sees it

We do not share personal information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it. Practitioners can update their own listing at any time through Claim your listing or Update a listing. To make a request, or to ask us to delete an enquiry early, email support@healers.org.nz. We aim to reply within 20 working days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Cookies

We do not set cookies. If you sign in to a claimed listing, a short-lived security token is used for that session only. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a technical cookie to protect the site from automated abuse.

Third-party links

Listings link to practitioners' own websites, booking pages and social media. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this page does not cover them. Check their policies before you give them personal information.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we update this page. This version is dated 8 September 2026.
